I swear, my roommates download porn constantly or something.
So there’s the first guy, he’s from NorCal, has a brand new 2013 Civic Si sedan, and doesn’t work. He only goes to school, then goes home. Parents are obviously sending him all the money he needs. He’s usually home 95% of the time.
His friend moved in to one of the rooms since he broke up with his GF and he works, and actually goes out. He’s also originally from NorCal. Drives a 2000-era Mercedes Benz C230 that he never washes.
The other new guy just moved in, doesn’t seem like he works. Goes out more than the first guy, but less than his buddy. Keeps taking “my” parking spot right outside my window.
I work, go out here and there, and study everywhere but every time I come home now, I can’t even watch my shows (Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Homeland, etc.) because it’s so fucking laggy. The first guy and the new guy are ALWAYS home, in their rooms, quiet. I swear they’re downloading porn.
At least I work, have an actual hobby, and a life outside of this place. Damn……
And I swear, 3/5 cars here are all white. Something about Asians and white being pure or something….makes me even more happy to have silver grey.
Does anyone know why people don’t buy Audis? Or, why you only see NEW Audis, but now OLDer model years?
Objective answers appreciated…just sent a message to me.
Because around here, I do see some Audis, but they’re all the new models since people have the money but I mean, if they were reliable, I thought there would be some older A4s here and there, maybe A8s, etc. Money isn’t a problem around these parts.
BMWs…..there’s people living in trailer homes with E30s. So that kills the “BMWs are unreliable” argument. Newer models, I agree, but the older ones are like tanks and are all over the place.
The reason why I’m asking - because I’m considering moving away from BMW 3-series coupes and maybe into an A5. But I never see any of them, which begs the question: why?
Fun fact #92
Neither of my cars (present and past) have ever gone through any car wash, hand or automated.
They were always washed with only my own two hands.
12:45AM & 1:10AM, 10/11/13
12:45AM: While taking the GF home, some asshole in a silver 2008-era Corolla speeds past us and cut me off at around 90 MPH on the 91.
Went after the foo ‘cause wtf. The entire freeway’s practically empty on a Thursday at midnight.
Long story short, he goes out of his way, tried to catch up, and only ended up getting smoked. Over 5 years of racing, and this is the first time a Toyota Corolla tried to race me.
1:10AM: After getting on the 57 from the 91, an E90 335i sped past at around MPH and within a second, an F30 328i also sped past at around 95-100MPH.
Had the slower of the 3 cars but I was betting that they had no balls so I took off after them and they both stopped at around 110MPH.
Moral of the story tonight: Having the balls to go after someone doesn’t always work (“race” 1) but it may decide who “wins” if you’re driving a car somewhat within the range of the “competitors.”
